If you’re titillated by lanyards or fascinated by sailing, then rejoice in the call of the sea as Salon Nautic takes place from December 5th to 13th not far from the Hotel Vice Versa.

Appeals to a wide audience

Nearly 800 exhibitors, a host of dream boats, advanced equipment, possible holiday locations and adventure stories that will thrill the senses of even the most jaded globetrotter: whether you’re an enlightened amateur, a satisfactory sailor or the perfect neophyte, you’ll feel drawn to all things marine as you cross the entrance to the Exhibition Hall at Porte de Versailles. The journey begins with the presentation of the latest additions in design and technology: proud sailboats, catamarans with futuristic lines, sober cruisers with adjustable inner areas and the flagship exhibits of all the most prestigious manufacturers are featured at Nautic.

Sophisticated equipment

Once you’ve selected the perfect luxury yacht for your world tour, you’ll need to equip yourself for the journey: sails, feeders, tips, furlers, hooks and pulleys are offered alongside advanced electronic equipment such as the Sonar Phone, last anemometer cry or mobile mapping applications, autopilot or fishfinders.

When the show comes alive

Every day, dozens of exhibitions and displays take place at Salon Nautic. This year, all the secrets – almost - are revealed at Spot Nautic - including board sports such as canoeing, windsurfing, wakeboarding or the very popular stand up paddle. A real basin even allows you to learn your future favorite sport! Between demonstrations, professionals will tell you all about their best adventures. You can also enter the Nautic Paris Crossing Cup: a crossing of Paris from the National Library to the Quai de Javel by stand up paddle.

Plus, scenes from the Vendée Globe will be revealed from on board the Initiatives Cœur boat, before the crew is joined by Stéphane Misfud who will discuss his ‘Blue Odyssey’ environmental project.
