Fashion Trade Fairs in Paris take Fashion forward

Published on in Shopping and Fashion

Fashion trade fairs in Paris always generate a buzz of excitement. That's because along with Milan, New York and London, Paris is one of the world's premiere capitals of fashion, and perhaps the most chic and cutting edge. From September 27th to the 30th, Paris will host two leading fashion trade fairs. Tranoi will take place in various prime locations around the city, and three fashion shows will link up to present a common theme; that of Japanese culture. All of these are easily accessible from the equally fashionable and glamorous Vice Versa Hotel, where the delightfully daring look was created by the famous interior designer Chantal Thomass. Fashion trade fairs in Paris move fashion forward this September

Tranoi literally means 'between us'. It's where forward thinking designers meet the ambassadors of the fashion world to produce something that is truly more than just a trade show, more of an event bringing together commerce and creativity. Tranoi also brings together the high end boutique world and up and coming design talent. With 1000 designers from around the world, there will be catwalk shows and fashion parties, of course, but also exhibitions staged by designers, and imaginative art installations. The three sites for Tranoi are the Carrousel du Louvre underground shopping mall; the Espace Montaigne at the Artcurial, Hotel Dassault, a true temple of the arts; and the neoclassical Roman temple design of the Palais de la Bourse.

The fashion shows Premiere Classe, Paris On Mode and Don't Believe The Hype are coming together around a common theme, that of Japanese elegance, sophistication, diversity and culture. The temporary exhibition venue in the Jardin des Tuileries will be attended by some 450 brands from all over the globe. So why not go looking for design inspiration, ready to wear and accessories in the fashion capital of the world?
