The Fondation Louis Vuitton paved the way with its exhibition in 2016 and 2017 dedicated to the Shchukin Collection. It is now continuing its Icons of Modern Art cycle dedicated to major Russian collectors by focusing on the Morozov brothers. Exceptional paintings
Born from the passion of two brothers born to a wealthy family of Moscow industrialists, the Morozov collection brings together masterpieces of French, European and Russian painting dating from the early 20th century. Among the 200 paintings on display at the Fondation Louis Vuitton between September 22nd, 2021, and February 22nd, 2022, you can admire works by Cézanne, Picasso, Van Gogh, Degas, Renoir, Matisse and Gauguin, as well as by the Russian avant-garde, including Serov, Larionov, Malevich and Repin.

All the display spaces of the Fondation Louis Vuitton are currently dedicated to this major exhibition. A visit will also give you the opportunity to appreciate the building’s contemporary architecture and its use of light. The exhibition route takes you in the footsteps of the two Morozov brothers, Mikhail and Ivan, who introduced the Post-Impressionists to Russia and then supported contemporary Russian artists.
