Paris attracts visitors with a vast range of interests thanks to an eclectic programme of annual events. The ever-popular Salon de l'agriculture showcases a huge selection of gastronomic products while the Retromobile vintage car show appeals to all age groups.

The second most visited show in France

With over 800,000 visitors each year, Salon de l'agriculture is a firm favourite. A popular and highly convivial event par excellence, the show gives you the chance to admire competition animals and to feast on authentic products from the French terroirs.  The 2017 edition of the iconic Farmer’s Fair promises to be a great success and it takes place from 25th February to 5th March at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre. It’s still an event where you can discover regional specialities thanks to the many stands that are dedicated to tasting. The traditional competitions are also excellent opportunities to admire the work of the country’s top breeders and see them rewarded for their efforts.

The leading event for automobile fans

Retromobile, or the vintage car fair, will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 8th to 12th February this year. Mark the date in your planner and make an appointment with collectors of the mythical cars that have played such a large role in the history of the automobile. The 41st edition will feature 550 exhibitors in a space of more than 60,000m2. Retromobile allows you to discover vintage vehicles from leading manufacturers and this year will showcase different models and versions of the Renault Alpine. Nostalgic car enthusiasts will also be able to see prestigious concept vehicles like the GTA alongside other famous models from the era which have contributed to the French brand’s success.
