A stroll amidst the Lumières en Seine

A stroll amidst the Lumières en Seine

Published on in Events

This winter, for the second time, the gardens of the Parc de Saint-Cloud invite you to experience an exceptional event: the Lumières en Seine, an enchanting immersive illuminations trail. In this exquisite park overlooking Paris, you can treat yourself to a stroll at your own pace through magical visual installations...

A magical journey

The classic aisles of the Parc de Saint-Cloud, adorned with statues and dominated by the magnificent trees, ponds and groves of this French-style garden take on a completely different character during the Lumières en Seine. At nightfall, it lights up with a multitude of colours. Over a trail of nearly two kilometres, the illuminated installations follow one after another, with the highlight of the experience being a sound and light show around the great waterfall fountain. Warm and intimate or spectacular and innovative, the ambiance changes along the way, creating ever renewed and delightfully surprising effects.

An occasion for the whole family

To counter the frosts of winter, several catering chalets await you on the site. Burgers, pizzas, pretzels or hot dogs as well as hot drinks are on offer. And you don’t need to worry about the ecological impact of the event as the organisers have opted to keep it as environmentally responsible as possible. The hours and days of the event have been concentrated to limit energy consumption. You can experience it from November 18th, 2022, to January 8th, 2023, from 17:00 to 23:00. The illuminations are comprised of 100% reusable LED lighting.

In the heart of winter and its long nights, Paris more than ever deserves its name of the City of Light. During your stay at the Vice Versa Hotel, plan a trip to the Domaine de Saint-Cloud, at the gates of Paris. The Lumières en Seine will take you on a magical journey.
